About: A small Eating Disorder Process Group for Adolescent Teen Girls to support their recovery journey. Each Session is 90 minutes. Through Expressive Arts, we explore the many facets of recovery and healing through a variety of art mediums such as paints, sands, clays, music, rocks, poetry and more. Mindfulness, Coping Skills, and Somatic Experiencing will be integrated into the Art Therapy process. Some areas of focus will include Self-Compassion, Wellness, Fears of Recovery, Values, Relationships, Dreams & Aspirations, and more.
Group Format: Once our small group has started, it will be closed to new group members to support an emotionally safe environment that allows for deep exploration of personal struggles.
When: 2nd & 4th Tuesday at 6pm from October 4th – November 15th. (4 session commitment is required)
Where: Counseling in Brevard, 846 North Cocoa Blvd. Suite A
Who: Adolescent Girls (Ages 15-19) Struggling with Restricting Calorie Intake, Binging and/or Purging, and/or Ruminating Thoughts about Food as it relates to Body Image
Fee: $75 per session, Art Supplies are Included
