Your online therapy sessions can be from the convenience of your own home. Similar to therapy that we provide in my office, we will work together to uncover the root of what troubles you, process through it therapeutically, and help you learn new skills so you can better cope with whatever challenges arise in your future. Many online clients prefer this type of therapy due to their busy schedules, often traveling with an ever changing schedule. You don’t need to sacrifice your emotional health for your tight schedule or frequent travel any longer. We are available to help you.
Confidentiality is at the foundation of the therapeutic process. We respect your privacy and hold it in high regard, ensuring that what you share with us remains private. Our clients feel free and comfortable to express themselves in our safe space together that allows for healthy emotional release to move forward in life, leaving the heartache, anxiety and depression behind. It is in this space that we will help you experience understanding, growth and healing, faster.
The only limitation to confidentiality is when there is suspected abuse or if you are threatening serious bodily harm to yourself or another person.
In our work as online therapists, we offer a range of therapeutic services. Since we are highly trained and fully credentialed with years of experience as therapist in a multitude of specialized therapies to include, Addictions Counseling, EMDR (for healing from trauma), Brain Spotting, Expressive Arts Therapy, Mindfulness, Clinical Hypnosis, Child Parent Relationship Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Play Therapy, and more, we have the tools and the passion to truly help you. Through our work together, we will move you past this time to feel the emotional freedom and joy that life has to offer.

For your therapy sessions, we’ll meet at a place that works for you, online. We will meet in a secure program, Zoom.
Very similar to Skype or FaceTime, Zoom is really user friendly. Unlike Skype and Facetime though, Zoom is a HIPAA-Compliant Video Conferencing program. This is extremely important. Skype and FaceTime are not secure.
For your sessions, all you need is a computer, a web camera and a microphone and access to the web for us to connect.
Access to Zoom, the program that we’ll be using, is free to you and you can access it through a link that we’ll send you after we get your session on the schedule. It’s totally secure (unlike Skype or FaceTime) keeping your sessions confidential. After clicking on the link that I provide, you’ll just need to click on “Launch Application”. It’s just that easy cheesy. We love it and many of our clients do too!
Your session will be similar to an in-office session.
Research shows that the #1 predictor of a successful therapy is based on the therapeutic relationship, not the actual room that you meet in. Trust is a biggie. Your therapist at Counseling in Brevard will work with you and help understand the inner workings of your mind – creating the change that you’ve been wanting! Contact us today to take that first step, you’ll be glad you did… the quality of your life can improve.
When you contact me with interest in online therapy sessions, we will set up your free consultation to determine if this type of therapy is suitable for your needs. Once this is determined, your first session will be scheduled. I will email you a private scheduling link for you to choose a time that works for both of us, as well as some forms to complete and send back to me. Once you are scheduled for your session, you will receive an invoice to make a secure payment prior to your session, as well as a scheduling link to access our meeting room in a user friendly and secure online application that is encrypted, keeping your session confidential.
We offer 60 minute sessions. Longer sessions are available by request.
Denis Waitley said it best when he said “There are two primary choices in life: to accept conditions as they exist, or accept the responsibility for changing them.”
